“I was once told that without hope you cannot cope. So, my desire is to offer hope and let the individual know that they are not alone anymore in this journey.”
Randy has been working in addiction treatment industry for over 20 years, having an extensive knowledge and background as a clinician, administrator, and outreach representative.Alongside his expertise, Randy isdriven by a personal desire to offer hope to those affected by substance abuse, making him an invaluable asset to the Brookdale Team.
While his career began in the electronic software industry in the late 80’s, his desire to help others led him to change career paths entirely. In the late 90’s, Randy returned to school and obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work from DeSales University. He is also a Certified Addictions Counselor in Pennsylvania and achieved the 2013 emerging leader award.
Upon graduation, Randy quickly began working in the treatment industry holding several positions throughout the years. His prior appointments include a therapist for both inpatient and outpatient treatment programs, Director of Admissions, Program Coordinator for an IOP/PHP program, and community liaison for the Penn Foundation Recovery Center in Sellersville, PA. His most recent position was held at Summit Behavioral Health as Regional Outreach Director.
Randy loves spending time with his wife of 17 years and watching his daughter compete in gymnastics and track and field. He also enjoys bike riding, cooking, gardening, and traveling and is an avid Philadelphia sports fan.
Through compassion, caring, and guidance,Randy hopes to help the individual and their family get the treatment they needregardless of their circumstance or resources.
