“Today I breathe life into vision and I create the world I desire.”
With nearly 40 years of experience in the substance abuse treatment industry, Dorothy Evans makes a proud addition to the Brookdale team as Alumni Services Coordinator. Dot has committed her life to the service of others, helping those struggling with addiction find a path to recovery and freedom.
A life-long resident of Bucks County, Pennsylvania, Dot attended Bucks County Community College where she obtained her Associates Degree in Human Services in 1986. She was first introduced to the addiction treatment industry in 1982, where she worked as an Administrative Assistant for an outpatient facility. Through hard work and dedication, she was soon promoted to Admissions Coordinator. From this position, Dot quickly advanced into the marketing sector of the treatment industry where she would spend the next several decades developing and maintaining relationships with countless like-minded professionals.
Outside of work, Dot enjoys spending time with her family, most notably her great grandchildren, as well as shopping and working in her garden.
Driven by a desire to help those suffering from the disease of addiction, Dot hopes to “continue my quest to help those in addiction feel safe, loved and important…and most of all, find recovery.”
