A proud addition to Brookdale, Bevin Stepp joins our team as Business Development Director bringing forth both the personal and professional experience to connect with those struggling with substance use disorder and aid in their journey of recovery.

Before finding her place in the addiction treatment industry, Bevin attended the Governor School of the Arts, where her love for the arts flourished. Thereafter, she taught art lessons, as well as recreational art in the substance abuse treatment setting.

A woman in long-term recovery, Bevin’s desire to help addicted individuals stems from the most personal, innermost parts of herself and experience. Sober since March 6, 2013, Bevin began working in the treatment field in 2014, feeling what she describes as “a passion I have never felt before.” Giving back to others changed her life and gave her purpose. Starting off as a technician at Promises Behavioral Health, Bevin quickly progressed within the company, being promoted to Tech Supervisor, Admissions Coordinator and lastly, Outreach. In May of 2020, Bevin joined the Brookdale team becoming a Business Development Director for the Harrisburg region.

Outside of work, you can find Bevin hiking with her husband and dogs, napping, enjoying family game nights and creating art. As Business Development Director, Bevin hopes to help as many people as possible, as her own battles with addiction and her family’s struggles have inspired her to give back and help others find a better way of life.
